Overview: This project will conduct a systematic literature review on supply chain finance and servitization. The aim of the project is to identify the broader servitization ecosystem, inclusive of and cutting across the three industries of manufacturing, transport and mobility and finance, in order to:
- Develop an understanding of how the shifting emphasis from ownership to outcomes changes the role of actors in the ecosystem, what new types of risks will/could emerge from contracting advanced services, where these risks, with respect to the asset finance supply chain, will emerge and who is responsible for them within the broader servitized ecosystem.
- Develop a future research agenda that stimulates the broader management field to conduct research in the area of servitization, ecosystems and the financing of servitization.
