Our commitment to racial equity
We remain committed fully to making meaningful changes that tackle racial inequity and systematic oppressions, and ensuring that Henley is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
In a statement published at the time of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, Professor John Board, Dean of Henley Business School, wrote that we must continue to promote diversity and commit to action to ensure that proper representation of ethnic minorities across the School increases and thrives. While we have made progress towards these aims, we recognise that more needs to be done. Our updated statement for 2021 reflects our commitment to this.

We are supporting the University of Reading following the findings from its Race Equality Review, published in May 2021, which details 20 recommendations to ensure fairer and more equal treatment for all staff and students. The University has committed to delivering on the recommendations made by the Review within the next two years.
