Enterprise Architecture and Transformation Skills Survey

Henley Logo blue

Henley Business School has created a new survey focused on the personal, professional, and leadership skills for Enterprise Architecture and Transformation.

This builds on Henley’s five year survey with McKinsey covering Enterprise Architecture and Digital Leaders. See the results here .

Participants will receive a personal overview of their capabilities. The summary report will review factors that are associated with successful performance.

Survey Lead and Supporters

This survey is being run as a research initiative at Henley Business School, following its ethical and privacy standards. Research leads are Dr Oliver Bossert (Visiting Fellow) and Professor Sharm Manwani.

Only Henley’s team will have access to the participant data. Survey supporters will have access to consolidated data analysis.

We thank the survey supporters for aiding the survey dissemination to progress our shared aim of enhancing EA skills and performance.

Original EA Survey

Henley Business School launched a research project with McKinsey & Company some years ago to evaluate what makes Enterprise Architecture groups successful.

The results of this survey – see here – delivered many insights. It showed that digital transformations without the involvement of EA teams accumulate technical debt and reduce reuse. In contrast the proper setup of Enterprise Architecture counteracts these issues and enhances the strategic contribution of the EA group.

Why this new survey?

The prior research focused on Enterprise Architecture as a group and its connection to operating model performance in an increasingly digital environment.

This new survey evaluates the skills of leaders and all those working in architecture and transformation across the enterprise.

The first part spans your Personal, Architecture and Enterprise Capabilities. The second part covers the factors affecting performance and career progression.

Benefits to you and the community

We need your support to create a comprehensive database of skills and success patterns in Enterprise Architecture and Transformation.

Participants will receive a personal overview of their capabilities and access to summary results after collection of sufficient data.

The button below takes you to a survey estimated at up to 30 minutes to complete.

We appreciate you contributing to this research effort and your personal development at the same time!
