Global marketing research and professional engagement for student success
The Marketing group undertakes research of international standing which it disseminates through teaching, publication, and engagement with practitioner and academic communities.
The marketing group has particular expertise in:

- and sustainable marketing.
It works closely with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, which provides additional professional benefits for our graduating students.
Understanding the needs of consumers of the future
The Consumer Futures Lab combines rigorous interdisciplinary theoretical research with practical applications. It works with academics and business organisations to address tomorrow’s consumer agendas today.
The Lab takes a particular interest in effects of emerging technologies on issues of consumers’ wellbeing, an inclusive society and on ecologically sustainable consumption.
Members of the Lab disseminate new knowledge through engagement with academic, business, not-for-profit and governmental communities; through published outputs, events and through teaching activities.
Developing excellence in customer management practice
The Henley Centre for Customer Management (HCCM), our highly successful research forum since 2002, is a unique collaboration between business and academia.
Led by Professor Moira Clark, who brings with her a wealth of experience and the results of over seventeen years of research projects into Customer Management practices, the centre looks to harness the forward thinking that delivers growth, enhances customer engagement, and develops a culture of innovative improvement for success.
The centre's member-directed research agenda builds transferable knowledge focussed on the issues that matter most to members, whilst the interactive events programme equips members with the tools and models needed to turn these actionable insights into best practice.
