International Business and Strategy
The International Business and Strategy group is at the forefront of research on how multinational enterprises navigate the global economy, with a focus on strategic leadership, organisational processes, and performance.
Strategic insights into international trade, innovation, and economic development
Our expertise extends to the study of international trade, economic geography, global value chains, and the critical role of businesses in affecting economic and social development. Much of this work deliberately develops policy prescriptions necessary to optimise sustainable growth.
We especially emphasise how innovation and technology shape location decisions and governance structures. History matters: we also examine the historical evolution of multinational enterprises and industries, and how they interact to shape global business strategies today.
We contribute to the full range of Henley Business School's offering, including undergraduate and postgraduate Masters programmes, PhD opportunities, apprenticeship programmes, the globally accredited Henley MBA, and Henley’s open and custom executive programmes.
