We have a new website - please click here to be re-directed.
Pathways to Property works to raise awareness of and aspirations about careers in property amongst students in secondary education. Roles in the sector go far beyond that of your high street estate agent; from a building surveyor or town planner to a sustainability consultant or financial analyst, there is a role to suit any skillset or personality and an abundance of opportunities available.

Alongside an annual Summer School, work experience, mentoring, an online course and financial support, Pathways to Property is keen to talk to students about the amazing opportunities within the property industry. Since the project began, we have engaged with over 21,000 students at over 300 career events throughout the UK. If you would like Pathways to Property to visit your school/college to attend a careers event or deliver a school talk please get in touch.
These can be delivered by current Real Estate and Planning students at the University and/or individuals who already work in leading firms in the industry and are keen to volunteer their time to encourage young people to pursue a career in property. This would be suitable for students from Year 10 and upwards.
All of the above opportunities are fully funded by the charitable donations made to the Reading Real Estate Foundation, predominantly made by leading firms in the industry who are keen to support students from less advantaged and non-traditional backgrounds.
