The Real Estate and Planning department at Henley enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in both teaching and research: we are consistently ranked in the top three positions in all major league tables and the US-based Urban Land Institute ranks us as the leading real estate centre in Europe.
We undertake internationally recognised, leading edge research into real estate, planning and land and maintain close and longstanding collaborative relationship with industry.
Our commitment to engage with public and private stakeholders is fostered by the Reading Real Estate Foundation, which organises events for our alumni network and students.

We offer undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in real estate, development and planning, and real estate finance, as well as a PhD programme with scholarship opportunities.
Our programmes are held in high regard by leading employers, many of whom come to us each year to recruit our graduates. We are proud of our outstanding employment record, with more than 95% of our students entering graduate level jobs within 6 months of leaving us.
Professional accreditions
Our comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses are all accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and our planning courses are fully accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute.
