DTA-BISU Joint Summer Training Progamme - International Cultural Trade in Digital Era
This summer study programme is jointly designed by HBS and BISU to offer students and young professionals an immersive exploration of the UK’s world-leading creative industries. Hosted by Henley Business School, University of Reading, the programme combines academic rigour with cultural engagement to cultivate global perspectives and innovation-driven thinking.
Participants will explore the strategic dynamics of the creative economy, international cultural trade, and the application of emerging technologies—such as artificial intelligence and digital platforms—within the creative sectors. The programme also features a rich schedule of expert-led masterclasses, workshops, and immersive field visits to key creative hubs in London and Reading, including West End theatre clusters and digital media innovation sites.
Through direct engagement with leading professors, industry practitioners, and cultural institutions, participants will gain valuable insight into how the UK’s creative industries balance tradition, technology, and commercialisation. These experiences aim to foster international awareness, critical thinking, and cross-cultural communication skills, all essential for success in today’s global creative economy.
Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive a completion certificate issued by Digital Talent Academy, Henley Business School, University of Reading.
This two-week programme will take place entirely in the UK, including both classroom-based sessions and experiential learning activities.
