MS Excel Training - an intensive course to make you an expert in Microsoft Excel
Excel, as an essential office tool, has been widely applied in different jobs and everyday work scenarios. The skills of using Microsoft Excel can be used as one of the key selection criteria or test in the job interview and transfer from internship to full-time roles.
We are offering a 2-day intensive training course of Excel skills to bring you from either from a novice or intermediate user to an expert in Excel with advanced skills.
After completing the course, you will be able to:
- To use basic operations of Excel software, incl. layout, interface, worksheet/workbook structure
- To master the input management functions, incl. cell properties
- To develop your understanding and skills of Excel advanced functions for data analysis and visualisation
- To complete a capstone project with the obtained Excel skills
This pilot course is sponsored by the World of Work Institute at Henley Business School. The £199 tuition fee is being waived and only a £25 registration fee will be charged. The maximum number of students is 25, and this will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Python Training - an introductory course of Python Programming
Python is a general-purpose programming language that is becoming ever more popular for data science. Companies worldwide are using Python to manage, integrate and harvest data to gain business insights and leverage their competitive edge.
We are offering a 2-day intensive training course of Python programming to bring you from either from a novice or intermediate user to be capable of programming a working solution in Python.
After completing the course, you will be able to:
- Understand basic syntax of Python programme
- Master the skills of importing and implementing Python library packages for file management and data analysis
- Develop your good understanding and skills of using Python automation to manage data from multiple office files, such as Excel files integration, split, and query
- Complete a capstone project with the obtained Python programming skills.
*No prior knowledge or experience of programming is required. All programmes and code will be provided, and we will teach you to make use of them, instead of coding them line by line.
