DTA Staff
Professor Kecheng Liu
Director of Digital Talent Academy, Henley Business School
Kecheng Liu is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, Fellow of the Charted Institute of Management, and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
He holds a professorial chair of Applied Informatics in Henley Business School, University of Reading. During his 30 years of experience in UK universities, he has taught at various courses such as BSc, MSc, MBA and executive programmes, and played numerous academic and leadership roles, including serving as a head of a university in China.
As an internationally renowned scholar in organisational semiotics and business informatics, he has published 300 papers in journals and conferences, and authored and edited 25 books, with 60 PhD students graduated under his supervision.
His research interests and publications span from organisational semiotics and informatics, business-IT alignment, digital strategy and architecture, to digital leadership and transformation.
Ms Jin Jin
Executive Director, Digital Talent Academy, Henley Business School
Ms Jin Jin has extensive experience in ICT and telecom industry and previously worked at Huawei UK and China Unicom Europe. She led the 1st Huawei ICT Academy project in collaboration with the University of Reading. As a team leader, she manages the Huawei Western Europe Region ICT Competition since 2017 until now. She has been awarded “Outstanding Performance Award” in 2019 and 2020, and “Outstanding Management & Leadership Award” in 2021. In addition, she worked with Executive Education and Huawei global Learning centre to develop the Leadership of Digital Transformation programme for executives. She also developed a future leader programme and digital skills training programme for industry clients and students. She specialises in strategy, business development, marketing and operational processes, procurement project management and training programme development. As a PhD researcher, her interests cover digital transformation, sustainability, entrepreneurship, future career, cross-culture, among others.
Dr. Lecky Li
Technical Development Manager, Henley Business School
Dr Lecky Li is the Technical Development Manager for Digital Talent Academy (DTA) and Huawei ICT Academy (HICTA) at Henley Business School, University of Reading. He completed his PhD in business informatics in Henley in 2020 with a focus on interactive data visualisation. Prior to his PhD, he achieved two master’s degrees in accounting and finance at Queen’s University Belfast, and business information management in Henley. He is also Huawei certified instructor in cloud computing and big data and has been delivering technical training session to the Huawei ICT Academies in the UK and EU since 2019.
Mr. Wenxuan Li
Project Manager, Henley Business School
Wenxuan Li is a member of Royal Meteorological Society, and has received his MSc in Applied Meteorology in Meteorology from University of Reading in 2022, and a BSc in atmospheric science from Lanzhou University, China in 2021. He is currently a PhD researcher with a focus on applying AI tools to reveal the driving mechanism of heatwave in Europe and the impact of heatwave on pollutants dispersion. He has extensive experience with data processing and data visualisation through various projects using Python, NCL and Power BI. He has worked as an assistant meteorologist in several meteorological bureaus.
