Business Informatics, Systems and Accounting is one of six academic areas within Henley Business School. We integrate socio-technical thinking and interdisciplinary expertise in information management, business processes and systems, accounting and finance.
Research
We have one research centre based within BISA :
The Informatics Research Centre (IRC) - Informatics is defined as 'the study of the creation, management and utilisation of information in scientific and economic activities.'
There is also a thriving PhD programme with 30 plus doctoral researchers.
Programmes
Taught by world-renowned faculty, programmes feature a vibrant mix of industry knowledge and academic excellence. BISA works closely with top international industry and academic partners to deliver a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Our partners and customers include Beijing Institute of Technology, Renmin University of China, PwC, CapGemini and Deutsche Telekom.
We also contribute to Henley’s world-renowned MBA and executive education programmes.
The Learning Experience
Students and participants will develop an ability to use their knowledge critically, understand the fundamental principles of their discipline and learn how to relate this to wider business and organisational contexts.
