Dr Wahab Shahbaz is a Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour at Henley Business School.
Wahab holds a PhD in Management from Massey University, New Zealand. His PhD dissertation investigated how mindfulness practices and experiences can enhance the wellbeing and performance of university staff. While pursuing his PhD, he has received distinguished awards and scholarships, including the Labour and Industry Research Insights Award and a Massey University Doctoral Scholarship.
His research interests include mindfulness, workplace health and wellbeing, human sustainability and positive organisational behaviour. He has presented research at national and international conferences and published articles in esteemed academic journals, including Human Resource Management Review and Social Indicators Research.
Wahab gained five years of valuable experience in human resource management and administration within the public sector, serving as an implementation and co-ordination specialist for a World Bank funded leadership development project in Pakistan.
A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK, Wahab is also an editorial board member of the journal Personality and Individual Differences (PAID) and the co-lead of the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINNergies) at the University of Reading. Wahab welcomes inquiries for research collaborations and opportunities for PhD supervision.
