Phil is an experienced apprenticeship professional with over seven years in the work-based learning sector, following over ten year’s management and leadership experience in the retail industry.
Phil holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Business Management from the Open University, which was achieved whilst studying part-time alongside full-time employment.
He is a qualified apprenticeship assessor, having completed his Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement in addition to the Award in Education & Training qualification.
Phil has worked extensively to support and lead much of Henley’s apprenticeship provision across a wide range of higher-level apprenticeships.
Before discovering a passion for work-based learning through apprenticeships, Phil worked for the UK’s largest supermarket, Tesco, and the Southern Cooperative, in various management and project roles in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
