Kate started working at the University of Reading in 2020, as a sessional lecturer, teaching the Accounting and Business first year students auditing. Since then she has become a full time lecturer, teaching Financial Accounting and Reporting as well as a Post Graduate Module, Accounting Information Systems.

Kate worked for BPP Professional Education for 13 years covering a range of subjects from Financial Accounting and Reporting to Financial Management and Auditing. She enjoyed her time at BPP, being able to teach students from various accounting firms covering syllabuses from AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and ICAS.

Before BPP Kate worked at Vodafone UK and Vodafone Group Services, in finance, for 10 years, before leaving industry behind for the classroom. However, being able to bring that industry experience into the classroom has proven invaluable.

Kate is a fellow of the ACCA.
