Lukas is a Lecturer in Real Estate within the Department of Real Estate & Planning.

Lukas studies topics in the intersection of Urban Economics and Urban and Regional Planning. In his research he utilizes both partial equilibrium econometric tools and full equilibrium quantitative spatial models.

Before joining University of Reading, Lukas studied PhD in Economic Geography at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior that he worked as a city planner at the Prague Institute of Planning and Development and worked for Deloitte Czech Republic in Real Estate Advisory.

  • MA in Applied Economics, Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education – Economics Institute (CERGE-EI)
  • Master degree in Architecture and Urbanism, Czech Technical University in Prague (graduated with honour)
