Kenny Asawachatroj, a PhD candidate, has a decade of global marketing experience. His current research focuses on consumer behaviour.

Kenny is a doctoral candidate at Henley Business School, under the supervision of Dr. Irene Garnelo-Gomez and Professor Carola Hillenbrand. His research interests encompass emotions, cultures, minimalism, and social marketing.

He holds an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College Business School, London, where he was honored with the Dean's List for Academic Excellence in 2014-2015, in addition to a BBA in Marketing from Thammasat Business School, Thailand. With a decade of experience in marketing strategy, partnership marketing, and digital marketing, he has worked across the UK and Thailand. Prior to joining Henley Business School, he served as a Senior Marketing Manager for SINGHA beer, managing a range of global sports partnerships, including with Chelsea Football Club, EPL broadcasters, and MotoGP.

Also, Kenny has a background in teaching, especially for MBA students at business schools in Thailand, and has served as a marketing consultant. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures, and writing for his blog.

Award value Covering tuition fees and providing a 3-year stipend (subject to performance) aligned with the UKRI. For reference, the annual UKRI stipend rate in 2023/24 is £18,622.
Criteria:

You must complete a formal application to the Marketing & Reputation PhD Programme, and be in receipt of an offer before applying for a studentship. You are to have achieved (or be expected to achieve) a Distinction at Masters level or equivalent including a distinction in a dissertation or thesis, or have similar relevant experience. The scholarship is available for 1 year and renewable for a further 2 years subject to performance (max. 3 years from initial registration).

PhD funding is available to both UK and International students.
