- Understanding management of diversity in Singapore from a bottom-up perspective
Jingheng holds a BSocSci (Hons) in Sociology from Nanyang Technological University. His major research interest lies in issues related to management of urban diversity, particularly the nexus between the built environment, everyday practices and state discourse.
Prior to embarking on the Real Estate & Planning PhD Programme, he accumulated experience in several research assistantships, exploring various aspects of Singapore. These include migrant integration, issues in the rental housing market, regulation of sex work in Singapore and surveillance of migrant spaces.
