Howard is the owner and Director of CORE Consult, a small consultancy that specialises in all aspects of Corporate Real Estate, and he has over 30 years’ professional experience in both consultancy and client roles.

Howard's background is primarily as a consultant but also as a client. His experience includes acquisitions; asset management; disposals; restructuring; litigation management; and portfolio management strategies. A major focus has been on lease liabilities arising from occupiers no longer requiring space and the mitigation of both cost and risk. Recent clients include the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Santander, William Morrisons, Whitbread, and B&Q.

Previously he has taught at University College, London, CASS Business School, Oxford Brookes University and the University College of Estate Management. In September 2021, Howard received his PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology.
