Esteban is interested in the governance processes that enable citizen participation in developed and developing countries. His research draws upon Governance Theory, comparing European and Latin American Studies based on case studies and participatory research. Before starting his PhD he had research experience with a think tank to review the challenges facing municipalities in Argentina.
