Alex Scher-Smith is a first year doctoral researcher under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr Cristiana Raquel Lages and Dr Rodrigo Perez Vega.
After Alex finished his MSc in Marketing and Digital Marketing, he was awarded a full-time fully funded PhD Studentship within the Marketing & Reputation department at Henley Business School.
Alex has formerly held marketing positions within the E-Commerce and Agency sector, alongside a career within the theatre and entertainment industry. He is currently researching the relationship between consumer negative valence encounters to service failure through the medium of social media. His other interests include consumer engagement, digital marketing, social media, consumer emotions and misbehaviours.
