Henley is ranked as one of the UK’s top five business schools in this year’s Financial Times Executive MBA ranking 2024, it’s best position since joining the FT ranking.

Henley also achieved strong positions in the world top 55 (No. 52) and Europe top 30 (No. 27), as well as securing the top spot in the UK for overall satisfaction, a measure based on alumni experience of the EMBA.

International course experience

Reflecting the richness of the EMBA experience and being part of a diverse international cohort, Henley maintained its UK No. 1 position for international course experience and achieved its best global position at No. 14.

Graduate career progress and salary

Henley’s graduate career progress retained a UK number 6 position (No. 32 Europe, No.64 world) – a measure which reflects the growth in the level of seniority of our graduates, as well as the size of organisations they are working for.

Henley also saw an improvement in the Salary (today) ranking (No. 5 UK, No. 34 Europe and No. 75 world), which focuses on the average salary three years after course completion. With graduates reporting a 49 percent increase in their salaries, Henley was also placed in the top 40 in Europe and top 10 in the UK for salary increase.

Recognising the quality and calibre of the students joining Henley’s EMBA programme, Henley climbed two places in the world rankings for the Work Experience criteria, which measures the seniority of positions held, number of years in each position, the organisation size and overseas work experience.

Equity, Diversion and Inclusion

Reflecting Henley’s commitment to staff and student diversity, Henley improved across all the gender measures, moving closer to the perfect 50/50 student gender balance this year. Additional criteria of note include:

-Women on the board - No. 1 in the UK, Europe and the world

-Women faculty – No. 1 in the UK, No. 5 in Europe and the world

Henley also retained its UK No. 1 position (No. 12 Europe, No. 19 world) for the Carbon Footprint measure, reflecting the Business School’s green credentials and commitment to working towards net zero carbon emission targets.

Head of Post-Experience & Apprenticeship Programmes, Anne Dibley said: “It is wonderful to see Henley’s world class Executive MBA programme going from strength to strength. We put student satisfaction at the heart of what we do, so I am delighted that we have secured the number one spot in the UK for alumni satisfaction.

"We are also very proud of the immersive international experience that our students benefit from, so it is very pleasing to be ranked number one in the UK for international course experience (and world top 15). We focus strongly on the importance of sustainability and responsible business at Henley, and our UK number one (and world top 20) ranking for carbon footprint is testament to this commitment.

Similarly, we are very proud of our strong diversity credentials, gaining the number one spot in the world for women on the school advisory board, along with being ranked number one in the UK for women faculty. Most importantly, many of our alumni talk about their Executive MBA as a life-changing experience: as our world faces relentless, rapid change, we are committed to ensuring that the transformational power of our Executive MBA grows ever stronger.”
