Reading named one of the best places to live in 2023 by The Sunday Times
The home of Henley Business School's Whiteknights Campus was included in the highly coveted list of most desirable places to live based on transport links, house prices and job opportunities.
The Sunday Times has named Reading as one of the best places to live in 2023.
Boasting Hollywood-style film studios, tranquil riverside walks and a direct tube link to London, Reading has firmly claimed its place among the best towns in the south east.
And Henley Business School students can benefit from all the town has to offer, with many of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes delivered at the University of Reading's Whiteknights Campus, a short journey from the town centre.
And graduates continue to reap the rewards of living in Reading, with fast links to London on the Elizabeth Line, and opportunities to work at some of the biggest technology companies in the world, such as Microsoft and Oracle, which are based nearby in Thames Valley Park.
The article reads: "Combine great job prospects and transport links with relatively affordable property prices and it’s not hard to see why the town is catnip for millennials and Gen Z.
"The £750 million Station Hill development is bringing 1,300 homes to the heart of the town, and direct Elizabeth line services to the West End and Canary Wharf have burnished Reading’s already formidable credentials as a regional rail hub."
Combining the idyllic countryside setting of our Greenlands campus with the bustling tech powerhouse of Reading, Henley students really do get the best of both worlds.
