Henley Business School climbs in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023
Business and Management Studies programmes have increased their position in the world rankings
Henley Business School continues to feature among the top in the world in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023, published this week.
Business and Management Studies programmes at Henley are ranked 146 in the world (up from 151-200 last year), and 26 in the UK, an increase of two places from last year.
Henley’s Accounting and Finance programmes also continue to perform well, ranking 101-150 in the world and joint 15 in the UK.
The QS rankings also includes reputational surveys – academic reputation and employer reputation – both of which have placed Henley’s subjects higher than in 2022.
The QS World University Rankings by subject are based on measures of academic reputation, the employability of graduates as rated by employers, and citations for published work.
Professor Elena Beleska-Spasova, Acting Dean of Henley Business School, said: “We are delighted to see our programmes continue to make progress within their subject areas.
“The results demonstrate Henley’s academic excellence, high-quality teaching and research and employability of our students.
“My thanks go to colleagues and students, across all subjects, for their hard work and dedication.”
The QS rankings cover a total of 54 disciplines, grouped into five broad subject areas: social sciences and management; natural sciences; life sciences and medicine; engineering and technology and arts and humanities.
In the broad subject area of social sciences and management, which includes Henley’s subjects, the University of Reading is ranked 261 in the world and 33 in the UK. The University of Reading’s overall ranking is 229 in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2023.
