Description

Ralph is Head of Human Resources at UK Athletics and has worked across a variety of sporting and commercial organisations, including Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems and England Athletics. During this time, he turned down the chance to go on the 1984 England rugby union tour of South Africa as he was opposed to apartheid.

As part of his remarkable life experiences, in 2016 Ralph was the victim of a vicious attack, resulting in life-changing injuries. Ralph has great engaging stories about how to lead and motivate teams, as well as how to lead people through change and remain resilient. He wants to make a real difference to people’s lives, particularly for underrepresented groups. He is currently supporting England Rugby Union in making the sport more inclusive and is a non-executive director for Derbyshire Mental Health NHS Trust.

The interviewer will ask questions – but the best questions will come from you, the listeners!
