Description

This action-packed seminar takes you on an exploratory journey through the realms of creative problem solving (CPS). Harness the proven power of the Osborne-Parnes Model, unravel the mystery behind Ruth Noller’s creativity equation and discover a robust suite of tools and techniques to inspire innovation and drive creativity within your teams.
Innovation and creativity are no longer optional in today’s evolving business landscape; they are prerequisites for success. This immersive introduction to creative problem solving will equip you with the skills to navigate complex challenges and deliver tangible results. First, we’ll dive into the influential Osborn-Parnes Model, a structured approach to CPS, then we’ll dissect Ruth Noller’s mathematical representation of creativity. By experimenting with practical tools and techniques throughout the seminar to stimulate creative thought and boost problem-solving prowess, we will blend theory with hands-on practice to help you better understand CPS and how you can apply it effectively in your daily work.

Jonathan Bannister started his business life at the global advertising agency Leo Burnett in London before moving to Hong Kong in 1994, where he helped found the strategic planning department. It was here he discovered that you can be paid to run workshops and hasn’t looked back since (and is still stunned that people want to pay him to do something he loves).

The focus is on helping clients foster creativity, innovation and adaptability within their teams and organisations by using a range of creative problem-solving and facilitation techniques, including Lego Serious Play, design thinking and team building.
Jonathan is a Fellow of the RSA , a member of the Academic Council of the G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture in Mumbai, a trainer and facilitator in Lego Serious Play methods and teaches the foundation course for the Creative Education Foundation’s annual Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) Conference at the University of Buffalo, New York.
