We’re running this session because…

With midlife women being the fastest-growing sector of the workforce, businesses are waking up to the fact that menopause is affecting gender balance, retention and the bottom line.

A recent poll found that:

  • 99% felt their menopause symptoms negatively impacted their career
  • 59% had taken time off work – 18% for more than eight weeks
  • 49% know little to nothing about menopause
  • 49% ‘have no intention of taking HRT’

Bringing their different perspectives, Sarah and Tatiana will discuss how we can improve the experience of menopausal women at work. You will be invited to join and contribute to the conversation, which will explore:

  • the what and when of menopause – the three phases and 49 symptoms
  • why menopause has become a workplace issue
  • how best to get results with natural medicine

How to Escape Menopause Misery without Synthetic Hormones

With midlife women being the fastest-growing sector of the workforce, businesses are waking up to the fact that menopause is affecting the bottom line. A recent poll found that 99% felt their menopause symptoms negatively impacted on their career, with 59% having taken time off work – 18% for more than eight weeks.

Other surveys have shown that half of women know little to nothing about menopause, and more than half don’t want to (or can’t) take HRT. So this webinar will explain the what, when and why of menopause, as well as how to best get results with natural medicine.

Sarah Davison

By the time Sarah was in her mid-40s, she had spent seven years in international sales and 14 years as a consultant, coach and trainer in organisational innovation, creativity and organisational change. The pressure of an intense job working for clients such as Coca-Cola, HSBC and Unilever, together with motherhood, caused her (she now realises with hindsight) to crash into perimenopause. Completely unable to cope with her life or work, and on the edge of burnout, she went to a homeopath for help. She was so impressed with the results that she embarked on a three-year Bachelor of Science in Homeopathic Medicine. Now, 13 years later, as a natural menopause expert, she runs a thriving practice treating women 40+ struggling with peri/menopause. She also uses her clinical and personal experience of menopause to provide organisations with talks, workshops, online programmes and support groups.

Menopause at Work: Understanding What Works and What Does Not

This session will take a critical perspective on how to create supportive workplaces for menopausal women. We will discuss diverse experiences and their implications for policies and practice. The session will conclude with how getting this right can be beneficial to all workers (not only menopausal employees).
