We’ve had 10+ years of large-scale digital transformation and now is the time to drive great new digital opportunities – from greater efficiency through to new revenue models. The customer is now digital and, in this session, we‘ll explore what customers expect from you as a minimum, help you understand how the impact of generative AI will be fuelling digital expansion, and how you can adapt your organisation for the next wave, to bring positive impact to your business.

Dr Mark Powell *Updated Speaker*
Mark is a business writer, consultant and entrepreneur. He spent ten years as an Associate Fellow of the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he specialised in designing and directing senior executive leadership programmes. He has lectured on strategy development, leadership, power and influence, strategic relationship building, and customer and employee engagement. Mark was one of the first UK gurus in the http://futureworld.org network.
Mark read economics and management at the University of Cambridge, where he gained a PhD in organisational behaviour.
As a business and strategy consultant for over 30 years, Mark has held partner roles at Accenture, Fujitsu, Aon, KPMG, Kearney and Cap Gemini, in addition to running several start-up businesses. He has recently retired as a Senior Partner at E&Y, where he led their data and analytics practice.
Mark’s primary interest has been in re-imagining and transforming organisations. He has co-authored four books with Jonathan Gifford exploring different aspects of business transformation. His latest, The Fifth Phase (2023), looks at how to leverage the power of data analytics and AI.
