Description
As the labour market continues to be impacted by global events, from post-COVID-19 fallout, to ongoing political, economic and social challenges, it’s never been harder for organisations to retain their top talent. Attraction and recruitment supply chains remain brittle and uncertain, as do phases of resignation and quiet quitting. That’s why it’s essential to maximise the best talent of all ages. Not only does this encourage productivity and performance inside the organisation, but it also delivers unbroken value to external stakeholders, clients, and consumers. However, there’s another, often hidden challenge. With four generations in the workplace, different age groups want different things from their leaders.
With this practical session, you’ll identify what unites all age groups and discover how to flex for different generations. With tools you can use immediately, you’ll be a leader who builds a loyal, high-performing workforce, across all age groups. Not only will you deliver diversity and inclusion, you will also provide increased business stability.
Learning Outcomes
The session will help you to:
- position the value and benefits of retaining top talent of all ages inside your organisation
- understand the generational challenges and superpowers of each generation at work today
- retain older top talent with a measured and planned response to their four key demands: great leaders, a great culture, a great job and great rewards
- retaining younger top talent with a flexible response to their top demands: a great cause, a great community and a great career
- recognise the actions that encourage talent of all ages to give their best in any organisation
Who is this for
For leaders and senior executives who are dealing with the engagement and retention of staff across multiple generations, and who want to maximise the motivation, productivity, performance and value of their top talent of all ages.
