For prospective apprentices
Apprenticeships combine full-time work with part-time study. They are a fantastic way to enhance your skillset and develop both personally and professionally.
Apprenticeships are suitable both for young people entering the workplace and experienced professionals seeking to further develop their careers.
Our apprenticeships combine work and study to provide both practical and theory-based knowledge. This can unlock opportunities within your organisation and support you to grow as an individual. Henley Business School's apprenticeship programmes offer you:
- the opportunity to accelerate your professional and personal development
- an enriching learning programme that can build your confidence, ability to lead, and encourage new perspectives
- access to our alumni network, a vibrant community of over 100,000 individuals in 165 countries.
How do I apply?
Before you can apply to join any of our apprenticeship programmes, you need to be formally nominated by your employer. We therefore recommend that you discuss this opportunity with your line manager.
You can start an apprenticeship if you already have a degree. However, your degree must be in an unrelated subject.
How much time will I spend studying and working?
Henley apprenticeships typically take two to three years to complete. You will study part-time while continuing to work in your role.
While apprenticeships are a journey of growth and discovery, they are also a commitment; you will need to balance your apprenticeship with other work and personal responsibilities.
At least six hours per week (equivalent) of your regular working hours will be spent on off-the-job training. This includes time at Henley and learning opportunities in the workplace.
What support is available?
Henley offers extensive and ongoing support to apprentices and their organisations. Your line managers should also support you throughout your apprenticeship.
How are programmes taught and assessed?
Our programmes use a blended approach which combines face-to-face workshops with online and on-the-job learning.
Programmes are generally assessed through coursework or project-based assessments. Your apprenticeship will then culminate with an end-point assessment. For more details, please refer to the relevant programme pages.
