Student Support
There are so many ways in which everyone, both individuals and companies, whether you are a member of Henley’s alumni network or not, can get involved and make a difference.
“A huge thank you to the donors to the Henley Business School Bursary. I am an only child with a disabled dad and my mum died during my studies, leaving me to be the bread winner of the family. This was an extreme financial burden, but the Henley Business School Bursary helped to alleviate some of that pain. The welfare team are also always there to support me whether that be in my mental health or through my studies to help me get the future that I need to impact change in this world.”Current Economics Undergraduate and Henley Business School Bursary recipient 2021/22
We are committed to supporting student excellence and ensuring that the best and brightest students can study with us without the worry of financial concern.
Through the support of our community, we are committed to assist academically able students from across the world to study their chosen career path with us, as well as provide funding during their studies for those who experience unexpected financial hardship.
Student support can take its guise in many forms, and whilst support can be specific by giving to our Greatest Need pot, you can be sure to help empower even more individuals to become the great professionals and the outstanding leaders of tomorrow, by helping them access a world-class education.
If you would like to set up a regular gift, you can do this easily via our giving pages, however if you wish to discuss a more substantial gift such as a legacy or scholarships please get in touch with the Development Team at Henley at development@henley.ac.uk or at +(0)118 378 4195.
“The Henley bursary means I can afford all of my books and still have some money to live off. This has been one of the few things that I could rely on during tough times at university and one of the main reasons I was able to achieve a first in my first year and a 2:1 in my second year. I want to give the most appreciative thanks to the donors of the bursary that made this possible.”Current Undergraduate and Henley Business School Bursary recipient
Many talented students are struggling to access higher education, while some risk having to choose between their basic needs and completing their degree due to the current economic reality.
Henley Business School is seeing a growing number of students applying for bursaries and hardship funding, in line with the situation reported by the Financial Times due to the cost-of-living crisis, and the drop in value of student maintenance support.
At Henley Business School, we are committed to supporting student excellence and ensuring that the best and brightest can study with us, regardless of their financial circumstances. We can only do this through the combined generosity and support of our community, who give generously to our Greatest Need Fund. Last year, this meant that we were able to support two additional students through the Henley Bursary Fund.
By donating to our Greatest Need Fund and contributing towards our £40,000 target, you are both empowering more individuals to become great professionals and helping outstanding leaders of tomorrow access a world-class education today.
